Alliance Boots to acquire Depolabo
12 October 2008Alliance Boots, a leading international pharmacy-led health and beauty group, announces today that it has signed an agreement to acquire Depolabo, a leading provider of pharmaceutical pre-wholesale and contract logistics services in France. The transaction, which is subject to various conditions including approval by the French competition regulator, is expected to completed in the coming months.
Depolabo distributes pharmaceutical products to wholesalers, pharmacies and hospitals on behalf of more than 50 manufacturers. It is headquartered in Marseilles, operates four warehouses across France and has approximately 600 employees.
